How to create and send a video testimonial

(If you need the guide from the previous page you will find it at the bottom of this page)

Step 1: Choose what device to record it on.

You can record it using your phone's camera, using your webcam, or any other recording device that you have at your disposal.

Step 2: Pay attention to your background.

There's nothing worse than recording a video then noticing the pile of dirty laundry behind you was captured in the video. Oops!

Step 3: Don't be a perfectionist.

If you have to pause, or create shorter takes, I can edit it to make it flow smoothly.

Step 4: Watch your recording to make sure you are happy.

We are our own worse critics. Again, I can take out any awkward pauses, but you have to make sure you are happy with your appearance, tone, and words.

Step 5: Send your video.

There are several options for this. Here are the two easiest:

Option 1
If you are sharing a video from your phone click the "Share" icon (see icon below).

Your phone should have an option to send large files. Click that and send the file to [email protected].

Option 2
Upload your video to a free file sending service.

I have found WeTransfer to be very reliable. Here's what to do:

Step 1: Visit WeTransfer.com. You can either create a free account our click the link to send files without an account.

Step 2:  Click the blue plus sign to upload your video.

Step 3:  Click the "Get a link" button.

Step 4:  Click the "Copy link" button and then paste the link inside and email and send the email to [email protected].

That's it!

If you have any problems or have any questions please let me know.

Here is the guide to walk you through what to questions to answer in the testimonial in case you need it.
